Description about my Father

My father means the world to me.   He has white and black hair.   He is kind of roundish, He is short ,strong and handsome.   My Father has curly straight hair and is really holy.   My Father has brown outlines on his eyes and has beautiful dark brown eyes.   My Father is brownish .

I love my Father because he is very humble and a very wise man.   My Father really loves reading , he says that if we keep reading alot then we will understand our Maths , Religious Education , Spelling, Writing and lastly Reading.   He is very good at singing and playing guitar.   My Father really likes Maths but most of all he likes Music.

When the house is messy My father would get really really angry.   He is a really tidy man.   When My Father smiles and laughs that means its a sign of happiness, But when he is telling me a really sad story of when his Grandmother died I can tell that he is sad because his dark brown eyes start to get watery.

My Father can be a angry, happy and sad but no one in this world can ever replace my Father.   That is why my Father is really awesome

Story problem problem

I am able use division and multiplication !

Solving story Problems

I am learning to solve addition and subtraction at level 3

1.
There are 21 people at a beach, and 13 more people arrive.Show how to work out how many people are at the beach altogether?
20+10=30 ,1+3=4 so 30+4=34

2
Two classes go on camp together. One class has 47 students and the other has 38.Show how to work out how many students go on camp?

40+30=70, take 2 away from the 7 and add it to the 8 which makes another 10 so 10+5=15 so 70+10+5=85

3.  A farmer has 63 cows.  He buys 39 more cows.
Show how to work out how many cows he has altogether.

60+30=90, 9+3=12 so 90+10+2=102

Solving story problems

I am learning to solve addition and subtraction at level 3

1.  Maraea is saving to buy a cat.  In 3 weeks she has saved $9, $56 and $72.
Show how to work out how much she has saved altogether
70+50=120
9+6+2=17
120+17=137

2.  Tom saves his money each month to buy a dog.  In 4 months he has saved $36, $78, $203, and $123.  Show how to work out how much he has saved altogether.
200+100=300
300+70=370
370+30=400
400+20=420
420+10=430
430+10=440 -> Answer: 440

3.   Te Ao is saving to buy a horse.  So far she has saved $17, $160, $72, and $148.  Show how to work out how much she has saved altogether.

100+100=200
200+80=280
280+70=350
350+40=390
390+8=398
398+2=400
400+7=407
407+60=467   -> Answer: 467

4.  Petelo has $ 147 as a present.  He spent $78 at the shop.  How much has he got left?

100-70=30
30-8=22

The frog Pond

I am learning to add words to a text so it  makes sense.

 On Frog Pond
This task is about adding words to a  text so it makes sense -  This will also show comprehension and understanding of text.
Read the text and put in the correct word.
It's early morning on frog pond. As the sun rises, light sparkles on the water (1).    All sorts of  pond animals are waking up. A (2) busy day is beginning. At the edge of The (3) pond, a little green frog sits on a lilypad (4) in the water. He is hidden here among the(5) floating plants. He keeps very still and very quiet(6). His big, bulging eyes are watching. He's watching the(7) dragonflies. He's watching for slugs and worms. He's looking(8) for flies. This little frog is hungry for flies(9).  Someone else is hungry too. A dragonfly hums high (10) above the water. She is a fierce hunter, looking(11) for insects. She hovers near a clump of leaves(12). She can fly in any direction, even backwards and.(13) sideways. Like the frog, she has very big legs(14). Suddenly she spots a fly crawling up a rock(15). She swoops down like an arrow and grabs the(16) fly with her powerful front legs. Gripping it tightly(17), she munches away at it with her sharp body(18) parts. The little frog has seen all this alone(19). He turns very slightly. He's ready to pounce, but (20) he keeps very still. He hopes that the dragonfly(21) will take off towards him when she's finished eating(22). He hopes she won't notice him sitting still,very(23) green among the pondweed. Soon she flies off(24).
