Diorama of a Dairy Farm

The think I like about my art work is when drawing the cows. Especially when my group and I paints the art work.

If I had to make another one I would change the color of the shed, make even bigger cows and make a lot of food so that everyone can see it. I would put more inputs into the farm.
The most difficult part was having to draw the animals, and make the gates. It was really hard straightening it up.

Power to Change

Expressive Writing:- What if I had the power to change something into something I want ?

I would be happy ,But feel weird at the same time. I would feel clueless, because I won’t know weather I have real friends or weather there just using me for the stuff I give them. I would also feel no pain, but would like to see what it feels like. I would want to see if I still have friends even if I don’t have the power to change things

I would feel much better and much happier to not have the power to change things.

Expressive Writing :- Friends !

What did I do to deserve this ? I just found out that some of the people I thought were my friends “ HATED “ me !.  They 
” BACK-STABBED ME “, when I’m not with them. I felt really hurt I felt agony as I walked along the paths back into our own class room, having to see there faces made it worse especially when it was someone else that told me instead of that person saying it to my face. I felt really hurt. I had no one  to turn to. They all “ HATED “ me, but then all of a sudden out of no where I realized that I’m not the person that's hurting them or hating them or even backstabbing them. As long as I have my “ FAMILY “ its fine with me. My father has always told me that if I’m having trouble with my friends, I am not to worry because everything will all fall into place. One Day it will. I am still waiting for that day to come where the people I thought were my friends will eventually become my friends once again.

If you have the same problem as I do, don’t worry about anything it will all fall into place.

Home Learning - 2014

Home Learning is really fun. It helps you learn more in life. I am understanding my fractions bit by bit. Home learning is really fun when you feel like doing it. I feel happy when I am Learning at home. Every time I do home learning I feel just right.

I feels as if I'm still at school when I am learning. You should try doing home learning, its fun.

What if I won a vacation to “ Korea “ for 2 years with my 

family ?

I would feel very excited. Excited but scared. I would probably pack my things and get ready to leave.

By the time I get there I might just visit my cousin that is currently staying in “Seoul“ in Korea. I would spend alot of time with her. Going out and looking at our favorite celebrities, buying celebrity posters and doing many more things together. I would feel Happy and Excited ! I would want to buy alot of things, like buying music CD's and visiting some of there famous landmarks like the 

" Namsan Seoul tower ".

Chilly Milk Experience

CHILLY MILK EXPERIMENT !

PURPOSE:   

TO OBSERVE AND RECORD THE CHANGES WHEN DIFFERENT MILK IS PUT IN THE FREEZER.

WHAT YOU NEED:

 

a selection of 3 different type of milk

clear container

WHAT TO DO:

 

Put  an equal volume of each type of milk in a clear container

Place each container in the freezer

Record what happens to each type of milk as it freezes.  Note its color, texture and shape Record the time it takes to each variety to freeze.

Type of milk	what it looked like once it had been out of the Freezer	Time taken to freeze
UP & GO	Icy, the color went kind of darker.	It took over night.
CONDENSED MILK	It looks the same. ( GOOEY )	Not sure because it is still not frozen
ALMOND MILK	It looked icy, ( WHITE ICE ) did not look like milk at all.	It took over night

UP & GO PREDICTION :

With the Up & Go our prediction is that it'll go kind of flaky/icy

The color will go lighter so will the texture and the shape will be round, depending on the shape of the container or cup.

TIME : 30 - 35 MINS

CONDENSED MILK PREDICTION :

We think that it’ll freeze slowly because of how gooey it is, or it might just be icy cold.

The color will kind of stay the same so as the texture & the shape will just be gooey and round because of the cup it is in. But then it might only be the top that freezes,and the inside it’ll just be icy cold and gooey.

TIME : 30-55 MINS

ALMOND MILK PREDICTION :

We think that the almond milk will freeze, but it’ll kind of take it’s time. W sa that the colour will stay the same or look a bit watery.  The texture would look the same and the shape would be round/circle.

TIME : 30 - 23 MINS

QUESTIONS :

1. What ingredients are in CONDENSED MILK ?!?!

ANSWER

- Moisture : 31.0 PERCENT.

- Sugar ( sucrose ) : 41.0  PERCENT

- Milk Sugar ( lactose ) : 10.5 PERCENT

- Fat : 8.0 PERCENT

- Proteins : 8.0 PERCENT

- Ash : 1.5 PERCENT

2. Why doesn't CONDENSED MILK freeze ?

ANSWER : because theirs no water in it...

( Cause all the water has been taken out of it.)

3. How much water is in UP & GO - ALMOND MILK & CONDENSED MILK

ANSWER - UP & GO :  

ANSWER - CONDENSED MILK : 31.0 PERCENT

INVESTIGATION

CONCLUSION OF THIS EXPERIMENT :

During this Experience, I have learnt that Condensed Milk can not freeze because it has no water in it. If their is no water in Milk then it won't freeze, but if their is water then it will freeze, but then it depends on the amount of water it has.

After: When out of the freezer !
