Hello I am Latanoa I am a Year 6 student. I am a Tongan girl I have a family that is loving and caring. I am really really proud to be a Tongan. I love to go to school because I like to learn and I also love to play with my friends.My interests at school are music,computer games, sports, playing the Marimba, playing Netball and most of all learning. I enjoy watching different kinds of movies. I do not have a favorite movie. My favorite music is “All Back” by Chris Brown. I like that song because there are words that I can act out. My favorite artist is Chris Brown. My favorite book is Chinese Cinderella.The reason why I like that book is its because it has a happy ending. When I grow up I would like to be a policewoman.

Holiday with Grandma

Wow! my grandma and I were off to the garage sale to look for some bargains. I was all ready and good to go. I got outside and all I could feel was the cold breeze. “Grandma, it’s five in the morning and you want to go to the garage sale?” I asked.  “Of course,” said my grandma. Grandma and I got into the car and off we went. When we got to the garage sale we walked inside and all we could say was “Wow!”. I begged Grandma if I could have $20. Please, please, I begged. I squealed when she finally said “YES.”  When I got the money I went straight to the neck section. I saw a lot of golden necklaces and guess what? They were only $13 dollars. I was so carried away and I bought it. I only had $7 dollars left so I bought myself 1 drink, 2 pieces of pizza and a sausage roll. I was so bored because I didn’t even get to use my brain. I sat under the shade hugging myself. After the garage sale we went back home.

When we got home it was like 9:37. We had something to eat again. After we finished eating we went to the Pak ‘n Save to buy some food. When we were there, I ran to the lolly section. I bought the chocolate lollies.

After that we went to my aunt's house. I ate lollies and ice cream at my aunt’s house. We stayed there till it was dark in the night. They talked and talked and I just played with the kids. We played and played and played. Then finally we went back home because I was so tired. When we got home we went and had a shower and then we went to bed. My favorite part was when we went to the garage sale and bought things that are cool and things that are nice to eat.

Valerie Adams is my favorite Athlete. She represents New Zealand.Valerie Adams has black eyes,black hair and she is strong. Valerie Adams does Shot Putt and she trains a lot.

Valerie Adams favorite hobby is going out in the garden. Valerie Adam trains with her coach Jean-Pierre Agger.
Valerie is a Tongan and her second language is English.

Valerie Adams was born in Rotorua in New Zealand. Valerie's Mother is Lilika Ngauamo and her mother is also a Tongan . Her Father is Sydney Adams and he is English.

Valerie Adams won one silver and three gold Olympic medals. Valerie Adams enjoys doing Shot putt.

My Mother is so Special

                                         
My Mother is so special because, she takes care of me and loves me and guess what she also supports me. I love her so much I can’t even stop loving her. I Love my Mum because she is always good to me and she doesn’t even want to lose me. My mum is like an angel to me. Every time I say something bad to my mum I always feel so guilty so I go and sit beside her and say Mum I am so so sorry for what I have done please forgive me. The thing I don’t want happening to my mum is that I don’t want to lose her and she does not want to lose me. Every time my mum is gone to work I always pray to the lord who is up in heaven to look after her when she is at work. My mum is always doing my lunch she is always doing things for me and my family she does my washings and she makes dinner. My Mum is the best mum is the whole entire world. My mum is always going to church she loves GOD so much.  The thing I want to say to my mum is that she is the best mum. When she dies I will never forget her. I am so grateful because I have a mum. Once again I just want my mum to be happy and that she is always special to me.
